Hello! My name is Alyse and if you’re interested in a millennial American stumbling through a new life in Japan, then you’re in the right place.

Like every other millennial I know, I’m still trying to figure this whole “adult”-thing out. I am a pro at “faking it ’til you make it”. Throw in a move across the globe and becoming unexpectedly unemployed and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an existential crisis.

Sufficed to say, my life has not followed the path I expected it to.
